The deposit is already included in the purchase price, the exact amount of the deposit is specified under the item characteristics. The deposit will be fully refunded after your old spare part has arrived in our warehouse.
The "exchange item" mark means that when you buy an auto part, the purchase price of the item consists of the price of the goods and a deposit value. Only products manufactured in EU member states can bear such a label. European legislation provides for the "deposit" as an amount that is additionally collected from the customer and is delivered to the manufacturer as a guarantee for the return of an old spare part for further recycling and reuse.
As soon as the manufacturer receives the used part, the deposit will be refunded to the customer. The amount of the deposit is determined by the supplier. This explains why the same spare parts from different suppliers may differ not only in terms of the amount of the deposit, but also why some charge a deposit and some do not.
This marking only applies to goods that are offered in the following categories: generators, brake calipers, car batteries, semi-axles, injection nozzles, high-pressure fuel pumps, compressors, starters and others.
